SUNSHINE
WORKS

Sunshine Works is a work preparation program. Sunshine Works was developed in response to the IDD youth unemployment rate crisis. The development of social skills is fundamental to gainful employment, and for young adults with IDD, this can be one of the most challenging aspects of acquiring and maintaining employment. The Sunshine Works Program is a paid internship for high school graduates ages 18 – 25 who are transitioning from school to the workforce.
